In today’s world of changing curricula and approaches to teaching and learning, assessment methods also need to be updated to support and achieve the targeted objectives in the classroom. DepEd’s Basic Education Curriculum (BEC) is encouraging student-centered learning methodologies based on the theory of Constructivism and development of students’ Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).
